Red Hot Chili Peppers are the first headlining act to be announced for next summer's Spanish music event Festival Internacional de Benicassim.

The band make their long awaited Benicàssim Festival debut in what will be their only Spanish date of 2017.They are the first act announced, many more acts for all stages and days of the festival will be revealed soon.

As well as a diverse array of musical performers, the festival has an extensive bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.

Established in 1994, this year will see the festival held near Valencia, Spain celebrate it's 21st year from Thursday 13th until Sunday 16th July 2017. With camping thrown in with the ticket price, all night music over 4 days, and sited just walking distance from the beach and a huge water park. As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival has an extensive bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.
