Depeche Mode is the first act announced for NOS Alive Festival, formerly Optimus Alive!, taking place in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th of July 2016.

The band will take their Global Spirit Tour to Lisbon headlining on Saturday 8th July next year. The Global Spirit Tour will be the band’s 18th tour and will mark their first live performances in over three years. Following the European tour dates next summer the tour will continue with shows in North and South America.

A 3 day ticket with camping (from Seetickets) is priced from £129.94 or £114.81 without camping. A day ticket is priced at £52.51. Prices do not include booking fees. Other options are also available.

Now entering its 11th year, the 50,000 capacity festival is very much a 'beach by day, music by night' destination festival - the festival opens at 6pm and goes on until 6am and fans can either book from the huge array of affordable local accommodation, or camp in the festival campsite.

With the Tagus River as landscape to explore the festival has arts, cafes, restaurants, as well as music on offer.
