A limited number of tickets for next year's 14th Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival will go on sale at 10am on Thursday 29th September 2017, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Fans of the event which sells out early every year, will be pleased to hear that  the Thursday opening night will return with Sister Sledge headlining the Garden main stage of the 3 day event taking place from Thursday 3rd to Saturday 5th August 2017 .

Ticket prices have not yet been announced. Three day tickets including Sister Sledge and a programme of artists on the main stage on the Thursday night will be on sale as well as traditional two day tickets which allow access to the rest of the festival (excluding main stage) from Thursday night onwards. Campervan/ caravan, BellaDub VW Campervan and electric hook-up tickets will also be available.

"What could be better than generations of Bella fans singing along to ‘We Are Family’ on the opening night of the event? It will be one of those Bella moments to savour," said promoter Joe Gibbs.

Thursday car parks and camping areas will be open from 8am again after this year’s successful trial run to encourage patrons to arrive in a steadier flow throughout the day to reduce traffic congestion. Arenas will open from 1pm on the Thursday.

Bella sold out each of the last eight years, often months before the event so fans are urged to buy early to avoid disappointment.

Music comes from around 90 acts across five stages featuring locally and internationally renowned artists and favouring a lo-fi approach. Belladrum offers plenty of interest aside from the music, including an array of entertainment for children, although the fairground rides will not be on site this year. Attractions include street theatre, cabaret, cinema, dance, alternative therapies, stalls, food and drink.

Belladrum takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Belladrum Estate, near Beauly in Inverness-shire, Scotland. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2017.

E-tickets will be on sale via the festival website, and printed tickets will be available from 9am on Thursday 27th October from the usual agents including: Inverness – The Ironworks, Eden Court Theatre, Caffery’s and Hootananny’s; Kiltarlity – Post Office; Beauly – Morrison’s; Dingwall – Sweet Treats; Elgin – Sound & Vision; Aberdeen – Aberdeen Performing Arts; Edinburgh and Glasgow – TicketsScotland.

When buying tickets on-line Bella patrons are being given an opportunity to contribute to the Archie Foundation, a charity which is helping to improve children’s hospital facilities in the Highlands.
