Madness' own House of Common, a one-day event on August bank holiday will take place on Clapham Common on Monday 29th August 2016 has announced it will have its own Minor Madness area on site for kids.

The line-up includes like-minded bands and DJs on 2 stages all chosen by Madness including Toots & The Maytals, David Rodigan, and Norman Jay MBE, as well as Congo Natty & The All Stars, Mike Skinner & Murkage present Tonga, Ms. Dynamite, Kiko Bun, Hot 8 Brass Band, Craig Charles, Terry Farley, Spring King, Toddla T, Rob da Bank, Reggae Roast, and very special guest Lee Scratch Perry.

Minor Madness is dedicated to kids (and their accompanying grown-ups) at the festival and will be located under a huge undercover area with a special House of Fun play garden, giant funky inflatables, kids rides and activities throughout the day.

Kids entertainment comes from Jak Poore, James Campbell and Rave-A-Roo featuring stars of Nick Jr., Go!Go!Go!.

The 'wendy' House of Fun and carpeted garden allow children to engage in a world of physical play. As well as energetic games, stories and workshops, activities the will be a chance to try colourful crafts, participation performance and music. Plus sporty games for older children and their families on the age-appropriate inflatable assault courses and giant slide. There are chill-out zones, Duplo area, the biggest story-telling picnic blanket and a dedicated bambino bell-tent (in a quieter part of the garden) with baby toys and baby changing facilities.

Clean, safe, and fun, Minor Madness will accommodate those onsite who want to enjoy some family madness together. Facilities include a handy buggy park, plus coffee and child-friendly snacks.

Tickets are priced at £45. Each ticket holding Adult can bring up to TWO Children (0-10 yrs) free of charge. When booking an adult ticket, the option to add two free child tickets is available. 10 yrs & under enter free accompanied by a ticket holding Adult (18 yrs & over). 11-15 yrs & under pay full price but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult (18 yrs and over). 16-17 yrs pay full price and do not need to be accompanied. ID is advisable.
