Roland to park up at ArcTanGent with their Boss demo truck

Electronic musical instruments manufacturer Roland are to bring the BOSS Truck to ArcTanGent Festival happening from Thursday 18th until Saturday 20th August 2016 at Fernhill Farm, Cheddar, in Somerset. The fully equipped truck will allow bands and fans to live demo the newest BOSS pedals.

On Friday and Saturday morning between 9 and 11am fans will get the opportunity to see some of their favourite bands live demoing. Signed up so far are Talons, Alma, Envoys, Memory of Elephants, Dialects, Poly-Math, Heck, Weddings, Oxygen Thief, FOES, Alpha Male Tea Party, Body Hound, Cleft, and Space Blood.

Natalie Lewis of Roland said, "Roland / BOSS are thrilled to be part of ArcTanGent festival 2016. This year marks the first ever BOSS truck tour and the truck is currently on a European tour which runs until December 2016 attending selected festivals and large outdoor events. The truck is fully loaded with the latest BOSS gear and amps as well as a hands on area for drums and AIRA DJ gear.

"While at ArcTanGent there will be regular guitar and amp demonstrations by artist Alex Hutchings, hourly prizes, friend jam V-Drum contests as well as a chance to have a drink on our roof terrace bar and take in the main stage above the crowds."

USA's American Football, and Japan's Toe who will both be playing their only UK shows of 2016. There will be over 70 bands announced for ArcTanGent. They join a line-up including Godspeed You! Tickets are priced at £75. An early entry ticket is priced at £20 (allows entry from 1pm on Thursday). A child (aged 0 to 10 years old) can attend for free. There is also a joint ticket offer with sister event 2000tress priced at £171.
