Twisterella adds White, Eliza Shaddad, Youth Club, Lisbon, and more

White, Eliza Shaddad, Youth Club, Lisbon, Gill Landry, Natalie McCool, Stereopol, Plaza, Luuna, and Shoot The Poet have been added to the line-up for Twisterella Festival, the one-day event which takes place at multiple venues in the Southfield Road & Linthorpe Road area of Middlesbrough, on Saturday 8th October 2016.

Festival co-director Andy Carr said, "We're absolutely delighted with how this year's Twisterella is shaping up and we're incredibly proud of the calibre of bands that we're once again bringing to Teesside. We are passionate about presenting Middlesbrough as a confident town and one that is very much at the cutting edge for showcasing the finest emerging talent."

The event is designed to showcase the brightest emerging national and international music talent and will also give a platform to a select number of local and regional acts who are ready to make the step up to the big stage. Venues include Teesside University SU, Westgarth Social Club, The Townhouse and TSOne. Plus pop-up sessions in: Sticky Fingers, Alchemy & Co and The Twisted Lip.

Previously announced headliners Clean Cut Kid, and Frankie And The Heartstrings, are joined on the bill by A Festival, A Parade, Alistair James, Avalanche Party, Beezewax, Cape Cub, Coquin Migale, Drifts, Fletcher Jackson, Flight Brigade, Foreignfox, Forever Cult, Hold Music, James Gray Robson And The Lovely Burn, Jordan Mackampa, Joseph Hammill, Kingsley Chapman and The Murder, Major Matilda, Samantha Durnan, The Van T's, Tom Joshua, Tongues, Trash, and Zach Said.

In addition to the live acts, Twisterella will feature an Unconference with the focus on bringing key music industry figures to the town to share their expertise and offer advice to new and developing Teesside musicians.
