Festival organisers of Forgotten Fields have issued a statement saying, "Dear festival goers,

We are hugely saddened to let you know that Forgotten Fields 2016 is no longer going ahead.

It’s with heavy hearts that we let you know news of this cancellation and would like to thank you for your support of the event.

Due to the rising costs of producing a quality event of this size, we are unable to produce a show that is of the standard both our team and customers would be proud of.

After thorough consideration of the event and exhausting all options we have sadly reached this conclusion. It was an exceptionally difficult decision to make and hasn’t been taken lightly.

We had a truly amazing time and weekend to remember in 2015, lifelong memories shared with lovely people in the fields, and we wish all the festival goers and team well for the coming festival season.

Yours regretfully,

The Forgotten Fields Team"

Making it's arrival last year the event for 4,000 attendees was to return for a 2nd edition and feature firm festival favourites with sing-a-long back catalogues, fine ales, world cuisine, and site art, festival games, fancy dress frolics, boutique stalls and camp fire tales all set in the picturesque English Countryside. Returning to the Sussex countryside at Eridge Deer Park from Friday 5th until Sunday 7th August 2016.
