Dizzee Rascal, Example & DJ Wire, DJ Fresh, and Ocean Colour Scene have been announced for the family friendly We Luv Festival which takes place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2016 at Liverpool's Aintree Racecourse and focused predominantly on families.

Also confirmed are UB40, Arrested Development, Radio Riddler, Scouting For Girls, Rebecca Ferguson, Alexander O'Neal, William Singe, Fuse ODG, The Sugarhill Gang, Fatman Scoop, Ray Quinn, Christopher Maloney,  and X factor finalists Louisa Johnson, Reggie N Bollie, Anton Stephans, Che Chesterman, Lauren Murray, Mason Noise, Seann Miley Moore, and 4th Impact.

In total over sixty artists are set to perform. There will also be a Liverpool stage with some very special performances from various local artists who will be announced shortly.

The festival will have various areas on offer to visitors to the 25-acre Aintree site, including a Food Festival area and Fairground and Fun area alongside the Main Stage where the music stars will perform.  As well as the music, younger guests will enjoy interactive sports activities, face painting and plenty more family fun including stilt walkers, inflatables and Punch and Judy shows. The event aims to completely shake up the festival scene with a brand new approach centred on an inclusive festival to appeal to all ages.

Tickets are priced at £40 for a day ticket. Youth (ages 6-15 years) tickets are priced at £35 for a day ticket. children aged under 6 years can attend for free.

The charity partners chosen for the event include Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Cash 4 Kids, Claire House Children’s Hospice, Everton in the Community, James Bulger Memorial Trust, and L.F.C. Foundation.
