A statement from organisers of BLOC Weekend happening at Butlins Resort, Minehead, in Somerset from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th March 2016 have announced this will be the final one.

A statement says, "After ten glorious years - this is it. It’s the final one and we won’t be doing any curtain calls, encores, reunion tours or one-last-jobs.

"We think that this lineup and the show we have planned is a fitting, powerful crescendo to Bloc’s story.

"And it is the last ever one because - well, weekenders are strange, beautiful things. Bloc itself has had some very widely publicised ups and downs. For us, in the middle of it, it has been a rollercoaster. Of course, everyone will have been on rollercoasters - they’re quite a trip, and leave you euphoric, shaken and with a new-found zest for life. Eventually, you get off having had a thoroughly great time. And that’s where we are."

There's self-catered, heated chalet accommodation on site, with ensuite and equipped with beds, kitchen, showers, and all mod cons. Butlins Minehead looks out across a sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants.

Tickets are done per chalet. Tickets have to be bought in groups of multiple berths according to the size of the apartment wanted - 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 berth. Standard chalets are like adjoining hotel rooms, with their own bathroom and TV but no kitchen or lounge. The early bird price is £139 (+ booking fee) per person, including all-arena passes.
