Bloodstock Open Air has added three more acts to the line-up over the weekend from Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th August 2016 again at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire joining headliners Slayer, Twisted Sister, and Mastodon, plus Fear Factory, Gojira, Symphony X, Rotting Christ, Paradise Lost, Dragonforce, Behemoth, Venom, and Acid Reign.

Supergroup collective Metal Allegiance will appear on Sunday, whilst their line-up is constantly in a state of flux, the line-up confirmed so far for Bloodstock includes Testament's Alex Skolnick, Death Angel's Mark Osegueda, Anthrax's Scott Ian & Charlie Benante, Gary Holt from Slayer & Exodus, Mike Portnoy of Twisted Sister/numerous other projects, plus founder Mark Menghi.

Mike Portnoy said, "I'm so excited for Metal Allegiance to make their UK debut at one of the most metal festivals on Earth! The perfect audience to share this brotherhood of metal with."

Atlanta’s rap metal pioneers Stuck Mojo join Friday's line-up, with New Orleans metallers Goatwhore installed as Sophie Lancaster stage headliners that day too.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock will offer a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £139 for adults with camping (+ booking fees), and car parking is priced at £16, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £35. Campervan pitches were priced at £55 and have sold out, and VIP options are available too. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date.
