East End's Community Festival reveals free take over of stores and spaces

The inaugural Community Festival, which takes place art venues in Shoreditch and Hoxton, in London's East End, in a week's time from Tuesday 3rd to Thursday 5th November 2015, has announced a FREE 'In The Community' programme which will take over stores and spaces as part of the three day festival.

Locations include local barbers Tommy Guns, Cycle Labs, Fix Coffee, Red’s True Barbecue ‘The Woods Bar’, the containers of Box Park Shoreditch, retro clothing specialists Rokit, and Café 1001. The free programme will include performances from Lisa Mitchell, Robbie Boyd, Ellie Ford, Theo Bard, Chloe Foy, Ivy & Gold, Blaenavon, Afrikan Boy, Draper, Charlie Straw, Cuckoo Lander, Daisy Victoria, and The Prettiots.

In The Community Festival is about bringing fresh new music for free to the local area, and to that end Sofar Sounds will be bringing their own intimate nights to the fringe event, with details on acts and location to be announced on the day.

The line-up focused on shining a light on the cutting edge of new music, bands, DJ’s and producers includes new additions Young Guns, Black Foxxes, Elderbrook, Max Jury, Mahalia, Coely, Eves The Behavior, and EERA, who join Airhead, Alex Vargas, Andrea, Anteros, April Towers, Black Peaks, Beasts, Beach Baby, Ben Abraham, Blonde, BØRNS, Boston Manor, Brawlers, Brolin, Clean Cut Kid, Communions, Conrad Sewell, DARKLY, Day Wave, Dead!, D/C, DJ Semtex, Dreller, Eliot Sumner, Fews, Fictionian, Fort Hope, Greg Holden, George Cosby, Gwilym Gold, Hacktivist, House of Pharaohs, Huntar, Inheaven, Jim Caesar, Joseph J.
