Tier 1 tickets have gone on sale for HowTheLightGetsIn the annual philosophy and music festival, now in its seventh year, that is held at Hay-on-Wye in Powys, Wales from Thursday 26th to Sunday 5th June 2016.

A limited number of are available at early bird rates. For the first time you are now able to access the full programme with a single festival ticket.

There are no acts confirmed yet expect over 650 events, 250 debates and talks, 400 bands and performances

Organisers explain, "In response to overwhelming popular demand we have radically simplified our ticketing for HowTheLightGetsIn 2016. For the first time, all you need is a festival ticket!

"Festival tickets get you into debates, talks, music and entertainment events. Festival tickets are available for the first weekend, midweek, or second weekend, or a special discounted 3 in 1 festival ticket to cover the whole eleven days.

If you want to reserve your place and avoid the queues for our debate and talk programme, there will be Priority Booking available when the events are launched. For those planning to purchase luxury yurts or pre-pitched tents please select a ticket without camping - you will be able to buy luxury accommodation at a later date."

A complete 3 in 1 Festival ticket is priced at £178 and offers the festival goer access to the full programme of events throughout the whole eleven days of HowTheLightGetsIn ... that's over 650 events, 250 debates and talks, 400 bands and performances, along with the Banquets, Circus, Spa, Academy, and more.

HowTheLightGetsIn Bank Holiday Festival tickets are priced at £118 and give access to the full programme of events from Friday 27th May to Monday 30th May with a bonus of the Thurday night Trailblazer.

HowTheLightGetsIn Midweek Festival tickets are priced at £54 give access to four days and nights of events from 8pm on Monday 30th May to 8pm on Friday 2nd June

HowTheLightGetsIn Finale Festival tickets are priced at £78 and give access to the second weekend and three days of events Friday 3rd June to Sunday 5th June.
