Freeze Big Air the snow sport and music event featuring the FIS Snowboard World Cup and International Ski Invitational in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday 14th November 2015 has been cancelled.

Organisers have made a statement, (here), saying, "Originally scheduled for Saturday 14th November 2015, the intention is now for Freeze Big Air to take place during early 2016 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by the postponement of Freeze Big Air 2015. Our aim has always been to make Freeze the best event possible, and we know that by postponing to a future date we will make the experience even better. We’re very thankful to all ticket buyers and fully appreciate everybody’s frustration.

"We will be working with the International Ski Federation (FIS) and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to find a date that better fits with athlete schedules and the wider competitive calendar, and that will ultimately enable us to deliver a bigger and better event. More news and a revised date will follow shortly.

"All original tickets will still be valid and transferable to the new date, but any original ticket holders wishing to claim a refund should contact See Tickets on 0871 220 0260 or freeze@seetickets.com. If requested, refunds will be processed within 7 days, with the amount automatically credited to the card used for the original purchase.

"We will continue to post updates on the Freeze Big Air website. Any customer serivce enquiries should be directed to freeze@visionninegroup.com.

"We still have a little something in the pipeline for 2016 in a slightly different format so keep an eye out for that, in the meantime, be seeing you."

Tickets were priced at £49.50 for adults aged 16+ years, and £29.50 for concessions aged 8 to 15 years, children under 7 years could attend free. A family ticket was priced at £139.50 for two adults & two children aged 8 - 15 years.

A field of world-class snowboarders and skiers including Jamie Nicholls, Billy Morgan and Katie Ormerod were set to join Chic featuring Nile Rodgers who had been announced as headliners.
