Black Sabbath, are the first act confirmed for Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting next year.

Graspop Metal Meeting is a metal festival held at the festival park De Boeretand in Boeretang, Dessel, Belgium, located approximately 50km northeast of Antwerp (Belgium) and 35km southwest of Eindhoven (the Netherlands).

The 21st edition of Graspop Metal Meeting takes place from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th June 2016 with Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Iommi and Geezer Butler headlining the opening night.

Black Sabbath announced earlier this year that they will do one last tour before retirement. Initially it seemed that they would confine their last tour to North America, Australia and New Zealand. But now European fans know they will at least be appearing for one last time in the Benelux.

Since their debut album in 1970 the band scored worldwide hits with Paranoid, War Pigs and Iron Man, and are at the centre of the heavy metal genre. The final tour promises the biggest production in the history of the band from Birmingham.

There are no acts other acts confirmed yet for 2016.

Ticket prices have not yet been announced and are not yet on sale until next month.
