Lee Scratch Perry, Ruff Sqwad & J-Cush, Slime, Mild High Club, Spectres, and Sex Swing have been added to the line-up for Bristol's Simple Things Festival.

Simple Things returns as a two day music and visual festival and returns to various Bristol venues for a fifth year on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October, across a cross section of existing city centre venues and brand new interesting and intriguing creative spaces.

The standalone opening party on the eve of the event, will be headlined by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, the others acts all appear on Saturday with Battles heading up the main festival bill of Maximum Joy, Carner, Chastity Belt, Danny L Harle, Dean Blunt, DJ Funk, Grumbling Fur, Factory Floor, HEALTH, Holly Herndon, JME, Liturgy, Lone, Long Arm, Lower Dens, Loyle Nicole Willis & The Soul Investigators, Oliver Wilde, Penguin Cafe, Romare, Savages, Skepta, Speedy Ortiz, The Soft Moon, Vessel, Vessels, Wire..

The latest evening and night time DJ additions are Hodge, Tessela, Eric Duncan, Darwin, Giant Swan, and The Blast DJs, joining DJs previously announced, who are Avalon Emerson, Barnt, Discodromo, Futureboogie, Galcher Lustwerk, Gramrcy, Helena Hauff, Hunee, Mike Skinner, Moxie, nd_baumecker, Objekt, Pardon My French, Ron Trent, and Untold.
