This year's Alchemy Festival, happening from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September, will take place at a new site nearer to Kirkby on Bain in Lincolnshire.

A statement from organisers says, "We're happy to say that Alchemy is moving sites!! The new home of Alchemy is on the same road a bit closer to Kirkby on Bain. There are many reasons for moving sites that we won't go into now. The new site will be much better for the festival. A license has been granted for the new site and we feel that this will be the best thing that ever happened to Alchemy and will allow us to move forward. We have lots of new things planned for this year including a giant octopus stage!! Please show your support by buying tickets ASAP - the sooner we sell out the better the festival will be...tickets are going well but the sooner we sell out the more we can put into the site "

Added to the line-up are Perhaps Contraption, Celt Islam, and Scum of Toytown who join the first headlining act confirmed as Asian Dub Foundation, with Space Ritual, Back to the Planet, Radical Dance Faction (RDF), Fyreflies, The Defekters, AOS3, Tarantism, Cracked Actors, Zetan Spore, Lunarsonic, Inner Terrestrials, One Eyed God, Pro-Gram, and The Firepit Collective.

Tickets are priced at £90 for an adult weekend ticket. An under 16 ticket is priced at £20. Under 5's are free and don't require a ticket, but will need to be registered. A Family (2 adults and 3 children) ticket is priced at £195. A car parking ticket is priced at £10, and a live in vehicle pass is priced at £25. Dog pass (limited) £20.

There will be a large children's area at Alchemy containing circus skills, workshops, bubbles, face painting, shows, talks and performances. There will even be a children's open mic. Everything in the childrens area will be free. The festival aims to be as green as possible and support fair trade, and hopes to have a local cider company on site selling homemade cider and mead.
