A new festival based around a new idea for the festival scene is to be launched at a yet-to-be disclosed location this summer.

To be called Fixed Festival, the idea is to have the same mainstream radio-friendly acts appearing every year, guaranteeing those acts on-going success almost forever.

Whilst the line-up of acts are yet to be announced, or even approached, organisers say they it will be simple to put the line-up together. Festival goers can expect the likes of Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, Blur, Fleetwood Mac, The Libertines, The Cure, Oasis, Green Day, Bruce Springsteen, Jack White, Muse or David Bowie, to headline.

The line-up isn't likely to get any less mainstream under the headliners, and organisers promise there will be no acts that attendees might find upsetting.

To keep a fresh approach each year's festival will have a curator, with organisers hopeful that Noel Gallagher will agree to do the first year.

The organisers said, "We think there's a big market for something like this, with recent social meeja research suggesting there's a potential audience of at least 135,000 people.

"It's the perfect first festival for the average British music fan who's never been to a festival before, where an expansive line-up might be too challenging or daunting for them to even read in the programme. We want to be very sure they can feel safe, and not have their musical sensitivities challenged as that's important amongst the new generation of potential live music fans."

Ticket sales will be limited to just one per-person, and as a special offer people can pay once and come back every year for their whole lifetime, which they will do unless they expand their musical tastes.
