Blur to headline Isle of Wight Festival

Britpop legends Blur are the final headlining act confirmed for the Isle of Wight Festival which takes place at Newport's Seaclose Park from Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th June 2015.

Blur recently released the third track from their new album The Magic Whip. Lonesome Street follows Go Out and There Are Too Many Of Us and is taken from their first album in 12 years released next month.

Graham Coxon said, "These summer shows are going to be quite different to the gigs we did a few years back. We're excited to play the new record live and we'll have some surprises in store for the fans too."

Alex James added, "The British summer is just not complete without a trip to a festival. We’ve never played Isle of Wight Festival before so we’re really looking forward to this one. And we get to take our tour bus on a boat."

Isle of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings commented, "I'm a huge fan of Blur and have always wanted to bring them to the Isle of Wight Festival so I’m really pleased we’ve finally done it! I know they’re going to blow the crowd away on the Saturday night – see you down the front!"

Sunday headliners Fleetwood Mac, both The Prodigy, and The Black Keys are Friday's two headlining acts, and joining them on the bill will be Paolo Nutini, Pharrell Williams, Groove Armada (DJ set), Chicks on Speed, Coasts, Ruen Brothers, Pretty Vicious, Visconti & Woodmansey with Glenn Gregory performing 'The Man Who Sold The World', Ben Montague, Billy Idol, James, Imelda May, Paul Oakenfold, Kodaline, Counting Crows, James Bay, You Me At Six, First Aid Kit, Courteeners, Suzanne Vega, Ash, Foxes, Sharon Corr, Lightning Seeds, Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band, The View, Ali Campbell, Ian Anderson plays the best of Jethro Tull, Pronghorn, James Walsh, Kool & the Gang, and more.

Tickets are priced at £195 with camping, a teen  (aged 13-17 years) ticket is priced at £145, a studen ticket is priced at £180. Children aged 12 and under can attend free of charge.

Tickets without camping are priced at £185. A car park pass is priced at £15, and a campervan ticket is priced at £120.

Prices do not include booking fees.
