The team behind the SOLD OUT for Kendal Calling which celebrates it's 10th anniversary this summer have unveiled a new event Forgotten Fields - a new summer party happening from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th August 2015 in the Sussex countryside at Eridge Deer Park, Tunbridge Wells.

In an interview with Kendal Calling promoter Andy Smith, (here) he tells us, " It started at The Great Escape last year. I just spent a bit of time on the south coast, and really enjoyed it. I started wandering around looking at the fields and venues and came across Eridge Park (in Tunbridge Wells) and it just seemed ideal, and then started considering what we could do there. I thought it would a good place for a little sister to Kendal.

" I think it will be somewhat tailored to it’s location, but there will be a lot of crossover I imagine. We’ll be taking what we’ve learnt works, and what audiences enjoy. But, we’re very conscious that down south it , might be a very different gig. We’re doing it the 7th, 8th, and 9th august, the week after Kendal!"

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2015. The first wave of acts will be announced at 7pm on Wednesday 25th March .

Tickets prices will start at £90 for early bird tickets,  and go on sale at 9am on Friday 27th March, and we'll have links to buy them then.

Organisers say 4,000 attendees can expect a fresh new summer party piled high with our favourite artists and prizing principles of intimacy, experience and quality over quantity. Forgotten Fields will feature firm festival favourites with sing-a-long back catalogues, fine ales, world cuisine, extravagant site art, festival games, fancy dress frolics, boutique stalls & camp fire tales all set in picturesque English countryside!

Organisers are offering those who have signed up the chance to receive a special invitation only presale link. 100 attendees from the pre-registration sign up, (click here), will be picked at random and receive a free ticket to the inaugural Forgotten Fields.
