DJ line-up announced for Lunar Festival

Andrew Weatherall, Magic Door, Psychemagik, Higher Intelligence Agency, Electric Swing Circus, Bart and Baker, Modulate, Sensateria, Richard Norris, and more are amongst the DJ line-up announced for The Lunar Festival.

The sister event to Moseley Folk & Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul returns for a 3rd edition to the home of Nick Drake, and takes place at Umberslade Estate, Tanworth in Arden, Warwickshire, from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June 2015.

On Friday night the festival will host Higher Intelligence Agency, and Swingamijig's Speakeasy with Electric Swing Circus, Bart and Baker, Cat In The Hat, Jitterbug, and DJ Chris Tofu

Saturday night features Magic Door, Richard Norris, Deano Ferrino, Jukes of Hazard, and Sensateria.

On Sunday night it's the turn of the Freestyle and Dark Corner Disco featuring Andrew Weatherall,Sam Redmore, and Dean 'Sunshine' Smith.

Appearing every night at Lunar Festival will be the Psychemagik’s Magik Forest Arabian Tent featuring Psychemagik,Lokier, Marcel Vogel, Lovefingers, C-Love, and  Wild Fantasy.

They join the first live cts to be announced, who were Tinariwen, Wilko Johnson, Public Service Broadcasting The Bootleg Beatles (1966 - 1970), Sun Ra Arkestra, The Fall, The Amazing Snakeheads, Julian Cope, BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Allah-Las, Sylvan Esso, Claudio Simonetti's Goblin, Pretty Things, Orlando Julius and Heliocentrics, Mark Radcliffe’s Galleon Blast, Syd Arthur, Jane Weaver, Robyn Hitchcock, Mike Heron & Trembling Bells, Plank!, Zun Zun Equi, Midnight Bonfires, Whispering Knights, Byron Hare, Matthew Edwards & The Impersonators, Ouse Valley Singles Club, Daisy Vaughan, Whyte Horses, The Drink, Benjamin Folke Thomas, Rhino & The Ranters, Sam's Brother and Nick Drake’s Record Player and more to be announced.

 An adult weekend camping ticket is priced at £94, day tickets are priced at £42. A kids (12-15 years) ticket with camping tickets is priced at £42, and a day ticket is priced at £21 for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. A live in vehicle pass is priced from £64 depending upon size. Prices include booking fees.

During the day there is a full programme of activities to keep the whole family entertained including Green crafts, Daily Yoga, Cinema Club, Sausage making workshop, Circus skills workshops, Guerilla knitting, Yoghurt weaving and Cabaret whilst the Umberslade farm will also be free for families to use.

At night the festival will change its focus to the various pop up mini-nightclubs whilst the main bar will become center stage for household DJ's to keep the party going into the early hours.

The Lunar Festival will also offer local ales and food with plenty of variety to make sure everyone camping is well watered and fed.
