DSTRKT 5 line-up announced for BoomTown Fair

The line-up has been announced for the bass heavy DSTRKT 5 at this summer's BoomTown Fair.

As previously reported BoomTown has a new area as centre-stage for DownTown, The Palace, which is all set to be the UKs largest fully immersive festival dance arena, and will be home to Squarepusher, Spor, the previously announced Noisia, Surgeon, and a showcase of 20 years of Metalheadz featuring Goldie b2b Dillinja, Ulterior Motive b2b Dom and Roland, Jubei b2b Ant TC1, and hosted by SP:MC, will be A Guy Called Gerald (Jungle Set) b2b LTJ Bukem, and hosted by MC Ribbz, will be Machine Drum introducing his Vapour City, Truss, Break, Ratpack, Tango & Ratty, Top Buzz, and DJ Sy.

The area is home to the BoomBox stage, a 40ft giant ghetto blaster hosting a 10hr takeover from two legends Norman Jay, and Mr Scruff present...Keep the Good Times Unreal!! Other acts to be found on the BoomBox include Benny Page, DJ Deekline, DJ Stickybuds, Scratch Perverts, J.Pod, an Inspected Records Showcase featuring Culprate, Emperor, Asa, Sorrow, ZES, and Inspector Dubplate, plus SP23 holding a Renegade Street Party.

Forged at the heart of the Spiral Tribe sound system, SP23 will be back in the UK this summer for the first time in 20 years and bringing a true piece of historic party culture back to where it all began.

Whilst over in the fully expanded, upgraded and sound proofed BodyShop, gabba, mashup and hardcore techno reign supreme with Luke Vibert, a PRSPKT Takeover (with Hellfish vs Producer, Bryan Fury, Thrasher, Switch Technique), Simon Underground, Vandal, Nicky Blackmarket, Bizzy B, Randall (92-94), Jerome Hill, Crystal Distortion, and a Renegade Hardware 20th Anniversary Takeover ft Maztek, Loxy, and DJ Ink, plus FFF, and Stivs.

The festival is made up of eight very different districts which celebrate a variety of individual music genres and cultures from Ska to Jungle, Reggae to Folk and a whole load more in between and beyond, the line ups are released district by district.

Chapter Seven of the immersive, theatrical and artistic festival with an on going narrative for around 45,000 festivalgoers takes place at Matterley Estate, nr. Winchester, in Hampshire and will run from Thursday 13th until Sunday 16th August 2015.

Acts previously confirmed are Noisia, Astrix, Ace Ventura, Perfect Stranger, Liquid Soul, Dickster, Sub6, Juno Reactor, Burn In Noise, Green Nuns of the Revolution, System 7, Lucas, Liquid Ace, Broken Toy, Waio, Brainiac, James Munro (DJ), Psymmetrix, K.i.M, Tron, Circuit Breakers, Lifeforms, Sad Paradise, Mechanimal, Dirty Saffi, Mindfold, Loose Connection, Hypnocoustics, Dick Trevor, Asimilon, Sybarite, Bumbling Loons, Slinky Wizard, Shane Gobi, Nesono, The Rave Commission, Mental Broadcast, Skyhighatrist, Liquid Ross, Pieman, Geo, Lloyd, Positivist, Nigel, Subsaharan, Mad Scientist, Ed Tangent (DJ), Shove, Vert3x, Wicki, Apollyon, Mitra, Harsh, Arbok, Fractal Mind, Cheryl, Dr G, Psychosonic, Kutanimal, Displaced, Psybart, Psycode, F'da F'da, DJ Pod, and Krosis, are the first acts confirmed for 2015..

Tier Two and Three tickets are still available starting at £135 (+BF & EcoBond) . With the new structuring of tiers there are even more tier two (£135 + BF & EcoBond) than last year which are likely to be available for a while longer, plus there is the split payment option starting from £40, where you can pay off as little or as much as you like in instalments until 1st July 2015.

There is an option to donate £2, £5 or £10 to the event's charity partners for 2015, all donations are matched by BoomTown.

This is just the first district line up announcement for BoomTown, next up on 3rd Feb will be the full headliners announcement and then after that from 10th Feb, will be the start of all the remaining district line ups:
