More acts have been announced for Sidmouth Folk Week eight days filled with folk music, singing, dancing, pub sessions, concerts, and cream teas, focused in the centre of Sidmouth, Devon and on the sea front. The dates for the 61st edition are Friday 31st July to Friday 7th August 2015.

The latest additions are Vin Garbutt, Topette, The Devil's Interval (Jim Causley, Emily Portman and Lauren McCormick), The Monks from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Amadou Diagne, Martha Tilston, Keston Cobblers Club, Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra, Alma, (featuring Emily Askew, Nicola Lyons, Sarah Jones, Deborah Chalmers and Adrian Lever), and Tom & Barbara Brown.

The first acts confirmed were Altan, Show of Hands with Miranda Sykes, The Spooky Men's Chorale, The Demon Barbers, Peatbog Faeries, Lau, Andy Irvine, Martin Carthy, John Kirkpatrick, Lynched, Edward II, The Poozies, Blowzabella, Emily Smith, Nancy Kerr and the Sweet Visitor Band, Leveret, The Wilsons, Faustus, Jackie Oates, The Mischa Macpherson Trio, Ewan McLennan, John Kirkpatrick, Debs Newbold, Martha Tilston, Stick in the Wheel, Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar, Heg Doughty & The Wolf Chorus, Rachel Newton, Steve Tilston, Alistair Anderson, Tim Eriksen, Askew Sisters, Moirai, Jeff Warner, Roger Digby and Liz Giddings, Andy May, 4Square, Steve Tyler & Andy Clarke, Spiro, Will Lang, Whapweasel, Hekety, Polkaworks, Liam Robinson, The Valiant Dance Band, Random, Steamchicken, Ceilidhography, Blowzabella, John Howson, Dan Quinn, and Bob & Gill Berry.

As well as live music, expect ceilidh dances, social dance bands & callers, workshops, a dance display, processions, craft fair, a themed children's festival, fun and games and more, with the festival spread across several venues throughout the town, over an 8 day period.

Dance sides will include Sheffield City Morris, Beltane Border, Star And Shadow Rapper, Mortimers Morris, Fools Gambit Morris, Hammersmith Morris Men, Pig Dyke Molly, City Clickers Clog And Step Dance Group, Customs And Exiles, Stone Monkey, Moulton Morris, Northgate Rapper, Crooked Moon Appalachian Dancers.

There are early bird savings available. An early bird all-in-one adult ticket is priced at £266, or £188 for an adult week ticket, £74 for a full weekend ticket, and £36 for an adult day ticket. Ticket options also available for young adult (aged 18-24 years), a youth (aged 12-17 years), child (aged 7-11 years), with children aged under 7 able to attend for free.

There will be charges for using the campsite. A week camping pass is available if you have bought an All-in-One, week ticket, or Campsite Passport. A week long camping ticket which runs from Wednesday 29th July 2015 to Friday 7th August 2015 is priced at: Family £177, Week Adult £67, Youth £33, 12 & under Free. Weekend Adult £29, Youth £15, 12 & under Free. Caravan + £36.
