Florence + The Machine, Alt-J, Blasterjaxx, Jamie Woon, Fauve, Jose Gonzalez, The Subways, Babylon Circus, Kadebostany, and AwolNation are the first acts confirmed to appear at Hungary's Sziget which takes place on an island in the Danube, Budapest, Hungary from Monday 10th to Monday 17th August 2015.


Sziget Festival, (pronounced see'-get) takes place on Óbudai-sziget ("Old-Buda Island"), an island in the Danube, Budapest, Hungary. Taking place in August, the festival started as a local event in 1993 playing host to various Hungarian artists and has grown into a large European festival, showcasing over a thousand international artists, as well as the music, there is; theatre, dance, classical music, cabaret, performances, films, fine art, crafts, literary presentations, programmes for kids, sports and other free time activities.

Sziget hosts more than 50 venues, Florence + the Machine will play on what's know as Day Zero, Tuesday 11th August, so those who want to watch Florence Welch should make sure they buy 7 Days Passes.

An early bird week long pass willl be priced at 219 EUR (approximately £173), and a 5 day pass with camping 189 EUR (approximately £149) . Booking fees also apply.
