Trivium headline Bloodstock as a UK exclusive for 2015

In a UK exclusive for 2015, Florida metallers Trivium will headline the Friday night of next summer's Bloodstock Open Air taking place from Thursday 6th until Sunday 9th August 2015 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire

Frontman Matt Heafy declared, "The UK is where the world first took notice of Trivium, and to pay true homage to that, Trivium will be playing the most Metal festival that exists in the UK - Bloodstock! We are thrilled beyond words to celebrate our first time at Bloodstock with the the UK’s Metal elite.”

Swedish power metalers Sabaton are Friday night’s special guests, and Portland, Oregon’s ‘dark folk’ metallers Agalloch join the bill for the Sunday.

The first acts confirmed are Rob Zombie as Sunday headliner, Saturday night headliners Within Temptation and their support Opeth. Ihsahn and Cannibal Corpse will both be UK exclusives, with Sepultura, Death DTA, Overkill, Ensiferum, Belphegor, Orange Goblin, 1349, Armored Saint, Nuclear Assault, and Dark Angel, also confirmed for Catton Park.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock will offer a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Early bird tickets are priced at £120 for adults with camping (+ booking fees), and car parking is priced at £16, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £35, and campervan passes priced at £55. Day tickets and VIP options are expected to be on sale at a later date.
