Stevie Nicks says Glastonbury Festival appearance being discussed

In the November edition of Uncut Magazine Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks tells Uncut, and a first Glastonbury Festival appearance for the band is not ruled out.

Talking about the newly reformed 1970s line-up of Fleetwood Mac starring Christine McVie, Nicks says that they will head to the UK for shows early next summer. "Chris is excited to come back to London. It'll be soon, probably May," says Nicks, as they prepare to head out on their first US tour with the classic Rumours line-up since 1982, adding, "Glastonbury? You never know. You have to weave festivals in. It's being discussed."

Fleetwood Mac were originally planned as a headliner for this year, but that didn't come to fruition as the band cancelled their touring schedule due to bass player John McVie being diagnosed with cancer. Festival organiser Michael Eavis has said of the '60s British-American rock act, "We're hoping to get them for 2015, but not next year".

It's the last few days to be able to register to be able to buy tickets for Glastonbury 2015 which will take place at a farm in Pilton, Somerset over five full days from Wednesday 24th until Sunday 28th June 2015 is now open until  23:59 on Tuesday 30th September (when registration will close until after October 6th). Everyone who plans to the come the Festival must register, and that includes children aged 13, 14 and 15. Registration does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket when they go on sale, but if you don't register you will not be able to buy a weekend ticket for Glastonbury Festival 2015.

Tickets for next year's Glastonbury Festival  priced at £220 can be reserved using the deposit scheme at a price of £50 per ticket payable from 9am on Sunday 5th October 2014, and eFestivals will have links for you to buy them then. Balance payments will be taken in the Spring on the Seetickets website and booking line. Please note that there is no option to pay your ticket balance prior to the date.

As part of the Festival's continued commitment to green travel, 15,000 coach + ticket packages will, as this year be sold in advance of the general sale and will go on sale at 7pm BST on Wednesday, 1st October, via glastonbury.seetickets.com, rewarding green travellers with the chance to be the first to secure their Glastonbury 2015 tickets.

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2015. Expect something like 2,000 performances at over 100 venues including music, cabaret, theatre, circus, a fantastic Kidz area, poetry, green crafts and information, site art, decor, and loads, loads more ... much more than just the music, so make sure you check it all out!
