A limited number of tickets for next year's 12th Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival go on sale at 9am tomorrow, Thursday 25th September 2014.

Fans of the event which sell out early every year, will be pleased to hear that an optional three day ticket offering an additional headliner performance on the main stage on the Thursday opening night has been added to the event.

"These days, a vast majority of our audience is already on site by the Thursday night so we thought we should offer a headliner with support on that night," said festival promoter Joe Gibbs."Fans with standard weekend tickets will be able to occupy campsites and attend the opening ceilidh on the Thursday as usual."

Music comes from around 90 acts across five stages featuring locally and internationally renowned artists and favouring a lo-fi approach. Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival will take place on Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th August 2015.

Belladrum offers plenty of interest aside from the music, including an array of entertainment for children, although the fairground rides will not be on site this year. Attractions include street theatre, cabaret, cinema, dance, alternative therapies, stalls, food and drink.

The independent festival has built a reputation for its eclectic line-ups, its offbeat non-musical entertainments and its all-ages approach.

Belladrum takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Belladrum Estate, near Beauly in Inverness-shire, Scotland. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2015.
