Twin Atlantic have been announced as the 2nd headliner for the 10th anniversary of Scotland's Loopallu festival, which takes place on Friday 26th and Sunday 27th September 2014 at Ullapool, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland.

Barry McKenna, of Twin Atlantic, said, "We've had a pretty special relationship with the Highlands since the very start of our band and over the years have enjoyed some of our most momentous and defining gigs there. So we're over the moon to say we will be continuing this tradition by playing Loopallu this year. We can't wait... & hope to see some old and new faces there to join the party."

Also announced for the bill are announcing the first festival appearance of Glasgow five-piece White, fellow Glaswegians Baby Strange, and festival regulars Ullapool Pipe Band.

They join the other headliners Shed Seven, plus a line-up that includes The Undertones, Alabama 3, Public Service Broadcasting, Neon Waltz, Kim Churchill, Vigo Thieves, Hunter and The Bear, Model Aeroplanes, The Vatersay Boys, Mark Radcliffe, and The Foes.

More acts are to be announced. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Tickets have sold out. Tickets were priced at £65 without camping, £80 with weekend camping, and caravan tickets priced at £25. Weekend tickets for children aged 6-12 years are priced at £10 with or without camping. Under-5s are free, though everyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.  Prices do not include booking fees.

The festival has a 2500 capacity. Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival also offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.
