Drake has announced that he will be unable to appear as headliner at this weekend's twin Wireless Festival Weekend happening over the same weekend, Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July in Perry Park, Birmingham, and Finsbury Park in London.

He said, "To my beloved fans, it truly breaks my heart that I won't be able to perform as planned at Wireless and Roskilde this weekend. I got sick a few days ago and although I am on my way to bouncing back, my doctors have made it clear that I am not physically fit to fly or deliver the performance my fans expect and deserve from me. I will be focused on resting for a quick recovery. I have the best fans in the world and I can't wait to come back to make more incredible memories together."

Instead in London Kanye West will headline for a second night in a row, and in Birmingham Rudimental will deliver an extended set with an array of very special guests.

Ticket holders attending the show on 4th July in Birmingham will also receive £20 of 'Wireless Credit' upon arrival at the site. This will be redeemable anywhere on site including food, beverages, merchandise and funfair.

Refunds will be available from point of purchase before the event but will not be available at the event.

Also on the line-up are OutKast, Pharrell Williams, Rudimental, Basement Jaxx, Ellie Goulding, Wiz Khalifa, John Newman, Iggy Azalea, Azealia Banks, Pretty Lights, Tinie Tempah, Robin Thicke, Sean Paul, Naughty Boy, Labrinth, Kid Ink, Wilkinson, Meridian Dan, Lizzo, Jon Bellion, Schoolboy Q, Javeon, Elli Ingram, Blonde, Rixton, Alec Benjamin, Say Lou Lou, Sinead Harnett, Indiana, All About She, Sasha Keable, J.
