Y-Not Festival adds eight more names

including Chloe Howl, Little Comets, Superfood, Canterbury, & Racing Glaciers

Chloe Howl, Little Comets, Superfood, Canterbury, Racing Glaciers, Neon Waltz, Bang Bang Bang, and Prides have all been confirmed for Y-Not Festival, which takes place fully from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd August 2014 near Matlock in Derbyshire.

They join White Lies, Dizzee Rascal, and Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls have been announced as headliners, the line-up also includes Razorlight, Shed Seven, Ella Eyre, The Fratellis, Newton Faulkner, Reel Big Fish, De La Soul, British Sea Power, Palma Violets, Spector, Tom Vek, The Sunshine Underground, Andrew WK, The Blackout, Cerebral Ballzy, Swim Deep, Saint Raymond, Beans on Toast, Yuck, Circa Waves, DZ Deathrays, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Bipolar Sunshine, Josh Record, Shlomo, Sonic Boom Six, Turbowolf, Luke Sital-Singh, Natives, LostAlone, Fight Like Apes, Slaves, Hotei, God Damn, Baby Godzilla, Blitz Kids, Empire, Freeze The Atlantic, and more for Y-Not's ten stages.

Tickets are priced at £84.50 plus booking fees. A ticket for children aged 12 years & Under is free, an early entry Thursday (from 2pm) ticket is priced at £13, a car parking pass is £5, and a campervan pass is priced at £30..

Organisers warn, "In response to questions over tickets sales - they are booming - it looks like you (and more besides) are all coming again! Sales are 33% up on 2013, and we're heading for another sell-out. Make sure you've nudged all the right, best beloved! people in this direction - if they haven't been to Y Not before, it's going to be a really good year to start."

The festival, now in its ninth year, has a capacity of 8,000 people, and aside from the music on three stages, there is a whole host of activities for Y-Notters to get involved in. The festival attempts to have an intimate nature, with many of the bands camping with festival goers, and friendly stewards. Late night entertainment includes a dance tent, or camp fire singalongs and there will be real ales and local ciders available.
