Headliners Tom Jones, and Razorlight lead the first acts confirmed for Scotland's Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

Making his first appearance in The Highlands Tom Jones is to headline the Friday main stage, with Razorlight topping the bill the next day.

Also confirmed are Frightened Rabbit as a Scottish festival exclusive, Billy Bragg making his festival debut, and The Temperance Movement will headline the Hothouse second stage.

Completing the first wave of acts appearing in the picturesque surroundings of Belladrum Estate, near Beauly in Inverness-shire, Scotland, are The Bad Shepherds, The Mekons, Casual Sex, Esperanza, Danny and the Champions Of The World, The Big Fat Electric Ceilidh Band, Call to Mind, Randolphs Leap, Dorec-a-Belle, The Lorelei, Scooty And The Skyhooks, Mad Dog Mcrea, Caledonian Ceilidh Trail, and teenager Hollie Atkinson from Inverness, last year's winner of Bella's Got Talent.

Many more artists are still to be announced with around 90 acts in total appearing across five stages featuring locally and internationally renowned artists and favouring a lo-fi approach. Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival will take place on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th August 2014, due to Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Belladrum offers plenty of interest aside from the music, including an array of entertainment for children, although the fairground rides will not be on site this year. Attractions include street theatre, cabaret, cinema, dance, alternative therapies, stalls, food and drink.
