18 more acts have been anonunced for this year's Download Festival taking place at Donington Park over the weekend of Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June 2014 which will release day tickets this Friday.

Added to the line-up are Against Me!, Monster Magnet, The Wildhearts, Chevelle, Arthemis, Orange Goblin, Lawnmower Deth, Page 44, Royal Blood, The Dirty Youth, Marmozets, Vamps, Kid Karate, The Magnus Puto Band, No Hot Ashes, Colt 45, Drones, and Tax The Heat.

They join headliners Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park performing 'Hybrid Theory' and Aersomith, plus a bill that includes Rob Zombie, Fall Out Boy, Alter Bridge, Killswitch Engage, Bring Me The Horizon, American Headcharge, Within Temptation, Behemoth, Sepultura, Skillet, Fozzy, We Came As Romans, Anathema, The Charm, The Fury, Coldrain, Crazytown, Emmure, Heart In Hand, Joe Bonamassa, Kill Devil Hill, King 810, Lyger, Malevolence, New Politics, Polar, Quicksand, Sabaton, Seether, the bizarre looking September Mourning, Skindred, The Pretty Reckless, Upon A Burning Body, The Used, Volbeat, SikTh, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicide Silence, Buckcherry, Memphis May Fire, Battlecross, Jake E. Lee's Red Dragon Cartel, Thy Art Is Murder, The Amity Affliction, Avatar, Lonely The Brave, Arcane Roots, Feed The Rhino, The Offspring, Status Quo, Steel Panther, Trivium,and more.

In other news Defeater have had to pull out. The official statement from the bandsaid, “Our singer is undergoing hip replacement surgery following an accident forcing us to cancel this entire run, once he has the surgery and is recovered we plan on making it back to Europe.”

Day tickets for this year’s event will go on sale 9am on Friday, 28th March priced at £75, and eFestival will have links for you to buy them then.
