Co-headliners Queens of the Stone Age, and Paramore will top the bill on the main stage on Friday at Reading and Saturday at Leeds in their only UK performances of 2014 and lead this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals announcement to appear over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

 Joining them on the main stage line-up for the same day are Vampire Weekend, Enter Shikari, Jimmy Eat World with a festival exclusive set, Deaf Havana, and Hacktivist.

Also added to the line-up on the NME/Radio 1 Stage on Friday at Reading and Saturday at Leeds are Temples, and Drenge. 

Confirmed for the main stage Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday headlined by Arctic Monkeys are Imagine Dragons, Foster the People, an exclusive performance from The Hives, Peace, with Bombay Bicycle Club. Headlining for the NME/Radio 1 Stage above Chvrches, Die AntwoordNeroand Don Broco, and Cage The Elephant both exclusive festival performance, while  Pendulum (DJ set) will be making an extra special headline DJ set on the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage.

On Sunday at Reading and  Leeds on Friday the main stage will host headliners Blink 182 plus Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A Day To Remember, and Sleeping With Sirens. Also that day the NME/Radio 1 Stage will showcase Clean Bandit, and Jungle, with Flume (confirmed over the weekend)  headlining this day on the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage.

Completing the latest acts to be announced are Basement, BrEaCh, Circa Waves, David Rodigan, Eagulls, Fat White Family, Gorgon City, Jacob Plant, Klaxons, Letlive, Lower Than Atlantis, Marmozets, Neck Deep, The Neighbourhood, and Wolf Alice.

Announced earlier were Andy C, Flume, Boys Noize, Ben Pearce, Bondax, Giggs, Joey Bada$$, Danny Brown, Lizzo, and Vic Mensa.

The first headliners were announced, as  and  with their only UK show. Also in the first announcement were Jake Bugg, Disclosure, Metronomy, Of Mice & Men, Wilkinson, I Am Legion, Courteeners, The 1975, You Me At Six, SBTRKT, Warpaint, Netsky, Annie Mac, Royal Blood, Hozier, Architects, Issues, Pusha T and Krept & Konan.

Fans still have the opportunity to secure their tickets for 2014 at 2013 prices until 31st March only. Day tickets Friday, Saturday, Sunday £92.50 plus booking fee.

2014 weekend tickets are on sale at the price of £202.50, plus booking fees, and postage fees will apply per order. Campervan tickets are also on sale priced at £60, and early entry permits are priced at £15.

There is also a £50 deposit scheme, simply put down £50 now, and then pay three further instalments of £53.50 a month, which includes the booking fee, but with postage payable.  

 

Children under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please note there is no separate children's area at this event, and eFestivals considers this an event not really suitable for small children.

Note: Tickets will not be on sale at the gate. There will be no box office of any kind. All tickets will be sent out to customers. 

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire with both events happening over the weekend of Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August 2014
