This year’s fancy dress theme is Kendal Calling Goes Beyond The Stars as the festival once again becomes a mecca for culture vultures and party people.
New for 2014 for Thursday night revellers, Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club take over featuring a hand picked line up by Craig himself. Thursday will feature Chai Wallah’s and the Real Ale festival will be open for pre festival shenanigans!
Now in its ninth year, Kendal Calling is held in the Lake District, over the weekend of Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August 2014, with early entry available on the Thursday. Kendal Calling returns to the Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria, and offers multiple stages and areas. The family friendly event offers 3 days of dancing, juggling, contortionists, comedy, site art and much more.
Festival goers can expect eight stages plus performance art, comedy and spoken word with gourmet food, a real ale festival and the dedicated children’s Ladybird Arena.
Weekend tickets are priced at £119 including camping, tickets for children aged 11-15 years priced at £60, with free entry for under 11s.
