Early bird weekend tickets go on sale at 10am today, Monday 10th February, for Stockton Weekender which will take place over two days this year on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July 2014 at Stockton Riverside Park.

The Early Bird Weekend price will be available until Monday 31st March and on Tuesday 1st April, Day tickets will be released and Weekend prices will rise.

Stockton Weekender is an independently produced festival, presented by Tees Music Alliance with support from Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and Arts Council England. TMA Director Paul Burns said, "It's been a tough year for festivals of our size and in particular those of us based in the North East. That's why we never take our audience for granted and want to make paying for tickets as easy as we can.

"We're also working on a plan to reward locally based customers - which we'll be revealing once the early bird period has finished. However, tickets won't drop below the early bird prices - so we're urging people to buy early.

"Regular Stockton Weekender attendees won't be disappointed with the line-up that we have planned for this year - we're getting really excited by the confirmations coming through the office and can't wait to begin making announcements once we have everything agreed with agents!"

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2014. Announcements regarding line up are expected in the coming weeks.

An option to pay in instalments has been this year. Festival-goers can reserve their tickets with a £10 deposit (per ticket) and then pay the rest off as they can, as long as it's all paid for by 25th July.
