Headliners Beck, and Foals lead the latest castaways announced for this year's Desert Island Disco themed Bestival.

Topping the bill on Thursday will be Beck, and Saturday's headliner is Foals. They are joined by Disclosure who take to the Main Stage on Friday night before the previously announced headliners OutKast, and Major Lazer also appear on the Main Stage this time on Sunday evening, playing before the yet to be revealed Sunday night headliner.

Commenting on their headline set Foals said: “We couldn't be more excited & honoured to be part of Bestival this year; it's the perfect end to our touring for Holy Fire. We promise a night of madness, mayhem & good times!”

Also confirmed today are London Grammar, Sam Smith, Wild Beasts, Clean Bandit, Caribou, and Chvrches.

There are no other acts confirmed yet for the 11th Bestival, which will be held at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight, are Thursday 4th until Sunday 7th September 2014.

Last year's theme was HMS Bestival, this year's theme follows a narrative with Bestival having sailed into uncharted waters, picking up rebels, misfits, artists and prophets, before beaching upon the warm sands of a tropical paradise with a stone temple in a clearing, and teems of bamboo and palm roofed shacks with a giant disco ball at their centre, this year Bestival becomes a Desert Island Disco.

Island chief Rob da Bank said, Ahoy there shipmates and welcome to my desert island! Yes folks, HMS Bestival has set sail once more and we have finally landed back on the Isle of Wight for our 11th instalment - a Desert Island Disco. Foals were voted best live act of last year and I'm delighted they'll be headlining the Saturday night – there’s no better indie guitar band in the UK right now. Also donning a grass skirt and mirrorball is a total icon of popular music and one of my favourite songwriters, Beck, plus disco darlings Disclosure, Diplo and his Major Lazer crew and all the hottest new bands from London Grammar to Clean Bandit. So get out of your deckchair and get ready to disco, my friends!”
