Neil Young & Crazy Horse, and McBusted have been announced as the first two headlining acts for British Summer Time returning for a 2nd edition next year in Hyde Park in London.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse headline on Saturday 12th July with support from The National, Tom Odell, Caitlin Rose, Phosphorescent, and Flyte

McBusted headline on Sunday 6th July with special guests Backstreet Boys.

Acts appear across four stages, and many more acts are still to be announced for the AEG Live event which will run from Friday 4th until Sunday 13th July 2014. Again in 2014 weekend will be linked by a midweek programme of diverse entertainment, accessible for all to enjoy. From Monday to Thursday, the entire Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park site, except for the main stage, will give visitors the chance to get involved with smaller, more intimate events in the areas of film, music, literature and sport.   

AEG Live was awarded the five-year contract to create this event in Hyde Park towards the end of last year. Penny Boyd, Head of Events and Filming at The Royal Parks said: “We can’t wait to welcome Neil Young and Crazy Horse along with supporting act The National to Hyde Park. We are very proud with what was achieved in 2013.

"Working with our partners AEG Live, we not only delivered a truly unique event for Central London, we also raised the bar in terms of sustainability, customer experience and service and local engagement. We are looking forward to building on that success and continuing the great work for 2014.

Ticket prices have not yet been announced and go on general release from 9am on Friday 13th December, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.
