Guy Garvey the lead singer of Elbow has hinted they could be making an appearance at next year's Glastonbury Festival 2014.

In an interview with the NME, (here), Garvey reveals that there's a good chance of them making their fifth appearance at the Somerset Festival hinting, "There’s nothing on paper, but I hope we play next year, because it's the best party on Earth. There's nothing official yet."

This would suggest that what eFestivals stated back in July when we said that Elbow would be making an appearance next year is indeed correct. Elbow last performed at the Festival in 2011 on the Pyramid Stage, and before that have appeared in 2008, 2004, and 2002.

No acts are confirmed as yet, but as usual eFestivals will bring you the very best-sourced rumours, allowing festival-goers to see who is playing long before the bands are formally announced - keep your eyes on the Glastonbury 2014 rumours, updated as we receive information.

Today is the last chance to register for tickets, before registration closes at 1 minute to midnight tonight, Monday 30th September, and will remain closed until tickets have gone on sale.

In order to buy a ticket Festival goers over the age of 12 must be registered, with online registration only taking a few minutes, this needs to be completed before trying to buy a ticket. Registration does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket when they go on sale, but if you don't register you will not be able to buy a weekend ticket for Glastonbury Festival 2014.

Tickets for next year's Glastonbury Festival have been confirmed as being priced at £210 + £5 booking fee per ticket + £7 P&P per booking with up to a maximum of 6 tickets able to be booked at once.

All tickets must be reserved using the deposit scheme at a price of £50 per person, with up to 6 tickets per transaction. There will then be no further UK or International payments taken until the booking site re-opens on the first week of April 2014 when deposit purchasers will have one week to pay the balance of £160 per ticket, and to book everything else they might need (tipis, campervan tickets, parking, insurance).

Children aged 12 and under do not require tickets and do not need to register.

Festival bosses are offering 15,000 early bird coach and ticket packages which for the first time will go on sale ahead of the main 135,000 ticket sale at 6pm on Thursday 3rd October.

As with the general release of tickets, Festival goers will be able to book up to six coach + ticket packages per transaction. Along with their deposit of £50 per person, those booking coach packages will be required to pay the full coach ticket price for their journey. A list of pick-up locations and prices is available here.

If you opt to save this information you will be able to use your registration number again in future years. Make sure the e-mail address you provide is one to which you will have long term access.

Next year's Glastonbury runs for five full days from  Wednesday 25th until Sunday 29th June 2014 across over a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. As ever, entry includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising more than £2 million in funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes.
