Glasgow based five-piece Mogwai, and American singer-songwriter Bill Callahan better known as Smog, have recently been added to the Celtic Connections line-up appearing across Glasgow from Thursday 16th January until Sunday 2nd February 2014.
Celtic Connections has also announced it will celebrate its 21st birthday by combining it with Robert Burns’s birthday, at Glasgow’s new Hydro arena with a concert that will welcome back a diverse array of acts who’ve previously graced the programme, while exploring Burns’s influence throughout the Commonwealth nations.
They join the previously announced Del Amitri, and The Big Dish as the first announced for a line-up of more than 2,100 artists who will take part in 300 events in over 20 venues across Glasgow.
Ticket prices vary from FREE to £35.
