Keith & Tex confirmed for London International Ska Festival 2014

Jamaican rocksteady duo of Keith Rowe and Texas Dixon, best known for their 1967 hit 'Stop That Train' lead the latest acts to be confirmed for next year's London International Ska Festival.

The legendary pair, Keith & Texwill be playing an exclusive UK show at next year's Ska Festival and their first in decades.

Also confirmed to appear are classic Trojan Records singer Freddie Notes who returns with a very special & unique brand new album with Phoenix City All-stars to perform their upcoming Skatisfaction album (a JA Ska take on the Stones).

The line-up also sees The Delegators, The Meow Meows, and festival guru DJ Chris Tofu will program a 21st Century Ska room. They join the previously announced Derrick Morgan, Junior Murvin performing 'Police & Thieves', Ken Parker, Pama Intl, and Roddy Radiation from The Specials. As well as DJs Tighten Up Crew, Sounds & Pressure Sound System with Phil Bush, and Little Diane (Ace Cafe).

Now in it's fourth year the festival will take place across multiple London venues (one wristband gets you into all of them) over Easter Weekend from Thursday 17th through to Sunday 21st April 2014.

The festival is set to highlight all that's good about the world of ska, from it's roots in American Rhythm & blues, to the Jamaican originators, through the 2 Tone era and right up-to-date with 21st century ska sounds.

All venues welcome 14 years of age and up (under 16's must be accompanied by an adult).

As well as the main events further fringe events take place including cinema, DJ all-nighters, Record Fair, Thames cruise, which will all build into a week's worth of shows at legendary London venues.
