BBC Introducing line-up announced for Reading & Leeds

The line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage at this year's Reading & Leeds Festivals happening over the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th August has been announced. 

This stage, now in it's sixth year at both sites, will showcase new talent including Amber, As Elephants Are, Big Wave, Casablanca, Catfish & The Bottlemen, City Of Lights, Crusade, Denai Moore, Glass Caves, The Grand, I Divide, Jaws, Joel Baker, King No-One, Lonely The Brave, Man Can't Fly, Mausi, Modo Stare, Peasants King, Prides, Saint Raymond, Ruen Brothers, Slaves, Sundara Karma, Theory 59, Thumpers, To Be Frank, Tripwires, We Are Knuckle Dragger, We Are Fiction, Witch Hunt, and Zaheer.

At Leeds Festival locally based record label Dance To The Radio return to takeover the BBC Introducing Stage on Thursday 22nd August with Black Moth, The Crookes, Dutch Uncles, Hookworms, and Menace Beach.

Other new additions include Childhood on the NME/Radio 1 Stage, with the Dance Stage hosting Bipolar Sunshine, Stay Positive, Parachute Youth, and Benin City. Decade join the Lock-up  bill, and The Wytches, and Battle Lines join Festival Republic.

Weekend tickets for Leeds are priced at £202.50 including camping, day tickets (where available) are priced at £90.00. Early entry permits are priced at £15.00, with campervan permits priced at £60, and lockers £16. Reading car parking is priced at £5.

Weekend tickets for Reading are only available with additional coach travel priced from £43 to £55 with departures from Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Northampton, Norwich, or Portsmouth. Reading day tickets for Sunday only are still available priced at £90.

Children under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please note there is no separate children's area at this event, and eFestivals considers this an event not really suitable for small children.

The festival line-up includes UK festival exclusive headliners Green Day, Eminem, and Biffy Clyro, plus UK festival exclusive performances from Fall Out Boy, System Of A Down and Deftones, as well as Skrillex, Major Lazer, Azealia Banks, Flux Pavillion, Redlight, Night Works, Foals, Jake Bugg, Bring Me The Horizon, System of a Down, Fall Out Boy, Alt-J, Deftones, Skrillex, Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix, Knife Party, Frank Turner, A$AP Rocky, The Strypes, Alex Clare, Disclosure, The Lumineers, Swim Deep, Azealia Banks, Editors, Johnny Marr, Magnetic Man, Baauer, Major Lazer, Tame Impala, Bastille, Mallory Knox, Temples, Modestep, The 1975, The Blackout, New Found Glory, Theme Park, Brand New, Tomahawk, Hadouken!, Palma Violets, Twin Atlantic, Chase & Status, Haim, Peace, Deap Vally, Sub Focus, and more.There are still around more acts to be confirmed as well the line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage.
