Galtres festival have announced more than 60 acts have joined the line-up set to appear over three days this year on August bank holiday weekend, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th August 2013 at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, near York, in North Yorkshire.

The latest additions are Miss 600, JP Cooper, Stolen Earth, White Bone Rattle, John Ainsworth, Africa Entsha, Troubadour, Van Susans, Asio's Eyes, Bull, Familiar Creatures, La Petite Mort, Laurel Canyons, Red Chevrons, Rook and The Ravens, The Buccaneers, Three Sheets T'Wind, 360, Game Theory, Leo and the Dandelions, Little Triggers, My Forever, Panda Cubs, Paris XY, Rocketsmith, Smiling Ivy, The Bluebuds, The Dukes of Bevington, Traffic Wire, Wolf Club, Young Believers, Affairs, Dub Barn Collective, Gallery Circus, Iceni, Kaminari Taiko, King Courgette, Sarah Horn and James Cudworth, Static Soul, This Ground Moves, Union Jill, Wes Finch, Beggar's Bridge, Beth McCarthy, Chloe and The High Tides, Disctracted, Gerry McNeice Band, Handmadehands, Harry Oakwood, Jonny & the Rizzlas, Josephine and The Artizans, Purple Mafia, Rose & The Howling North, Steph Stephenson and Matt Bentley, Tantz, The Hot Soles, The Hypnotic Eye, The Jar Family, The Lottery Winners, and The Van Doos.

They join Friday headliners Reef, Saturday headliners Maximo Park, plus Johnny Borrell, Freankie & The Heartstrings, Nick Harper, Bridie Jackson and The Arbour, Paul Liddell, Sarah Dean, and York based rockers We Could Be Astronauts, Lloyd Cole, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Chris Helme, Holy Moly & the Crackers, Maia, Boss Caine, Counting Coins, David Ward Maclean, Horse Guards Parade, Littlemores, Ryan Spendlove, The Blueprints, The Talks, and Blackbeard's Tea Party. More than 100 bands will play Galtres Festival on seven stages.

The Galtres festival started out as a beer and cider festival that included local based musicians and has gone through a change over the last couple of years and is now considered more of a music festival that has some great locally produced beers/ciders on sale.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £90, child (aged 5 -15 years) tickets are priced at £20, a family ticket (2 adults and up to three children) is priced at £270. Day tickets are priced at £35 for Friday and £40 for Saturday or Sunday. A camping (per tent) ticket is priced from £10 to £40 depending upon size of tent.
