Alternative Stage line-up announced for Reading and Leeds

The Alternative Stage line-up has been announced for this summer's Reading & Leeds Festivals.

Comedians confirmed to appear over the weekend of the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th August are Russell Kane, Rob Delaney, Josh Widdicombe, Paul Chowdhry, Trevor Noah, Jamie Kilstein, and Carl Donnelly's National Reading & Leeds Novelty Dance Off Finals with the regional semi-finalists battling it out at each site to be crowned Novelty Dance Off winners. Carl will be joined by his friends, Paul McCaffrey, Damian Clark and Tom Deacon to judge the finals.

Also bringing the laughs are Nathan Caton, Andrew O'Neill, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Idiots Of Ants, Tiffany Stevenson, Ellis James, Rob Beckett, Luisa Omielan, Suzi Ruffell, Mark Simmons, and Andrew Ryan.

Whilst appearing only at Leeds will be Seann Walsh, Mark Thomas, Jarred Christmas, Romesh Ranganathan, Lucy Beaumont, and Jim Smallman. Similarly appearing only at Reading will be Shappi Khorsandi, Tom Deacon and Daniel Townes. On the music side of things acts confirmed are MC Doom, Shlomo & The Lip Factory, Jeffrey Lewis & The Rain, Reeps1, Transgressive Records DJs, Propaganda with special guests Haim, and a screening of Snoop Lion: Reincarnated.

Rebel Bingo, and Boogaloo Stu are added to the those appearing at Leeds, with Buttoned Down Disco added to the Reading bill.

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Weekend tickets are priced at £202.50, with day tickets priced at £90.

Early entry tickets enabling festival goers to get into the site on the Wednesday are priced at £15, car park passes £5, with campervan passes priced at £60, and lockers £15.

Tickets can also be secured with a £67.50 deposit. The last day you can participate in the scheme will be on Friday 31 May.

Tickets are limited to a maximum of four per person and per credit card for those booking online. U16s (15 & under) must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Children under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please note there is no separate children's area at this event, and eFestivals considers this an event not really suitable for small children.
