Dylan Moran tops the comedy bill at Larmer Tree

Dylan Moran, Alistair McGowan, Rich Hall, and Idiots Of Ants headline the comedy line-up at the 23rd annual Larmer Tree Festival.

Heading up the comedy line-up and is Dylan Moran, the star of Black Books, Shaun of the Dead and Run, Fat Boy Run will be headlining at The ARC Comedy Club on Thursday. Topping Friday night's comedy line-up are four-piece sketch comedians Idiots Of Ants. Saturday night sees impressionist Alistair McGowan make a rare appearance at a festival,and Rich Hall brings his Hoedown show to Larmer Tree for the first time on Sunday night.

Other performers include Tony Law on Friday, Doc Brown on Saturday night, plus Ray Peacock, Patrick Monahan, The Noise Next Door, Jarlath Regan, Kieran Boyd, Mark Cooper-Jones, Paul Currie, Tommy Rowson, Matt Richardson, and comedic entertainment for children at the Comedy Club 4 Kids held at The Social during the day, with the best comedians performing comedy without the rude bits.

Julia Safe, Larmer Tree's Co-Director and comedy programmer said, "We are very excited to have such a fantastic line-up this year and have a unique mix of well-known names and impressive emerging talent."

Musically Van Morrison, Dexys, Seasick Steve, Imelda May and Bellowhead will headline each night of the five day event which takes place from Wednesday 17th to Sunday 21st July 2013 at Larmer Tree Gardens. Joining who headline Sunday at the top of the bill.

Unlike most festivals, camping for tents is included in the ticket price regardless of how many day attending, so even one-day visitors can take advantage of the onsite night club and late night sessions. Over 100 bands and acts will perform on six stages, alongside a comedy club, 150 free workshops and a Sunday carnival.

The line-up also includes KT Tunstall, Johnny Flynn & the Sussex Wit, The Bombay Royale, Gentlemans Dub Club, Phil King, Stone Donkey Pilots, Pronghorn, The Ben Waters Band, Megson, Cowbell, Ruth Theodore, Fran Smith, Manière des Bohémiens, The Beat, Moscow Drug Club, Chris Woods, Flats & Sharps, Larkin Poe, Molotov Jukebox, Keston Cobblers Club, We Used to Make Things, Sam Lee and Friends, Lau, Treetop Flyers, Curtis Eller, The Severed Limb, Clinton Fearon, Blair Dunlop, Marc O'Reilly, Three Cane Whale, The Kilcawley Family, Thomas Ford, and more.

Larmer Tree also offers a carnival, workshops and events such as Marc Kermode's Film Club, which has Time and Time Travel as the theme this year with the film critic presenting a selection of his much-loved films in The Playground, where he will introduce many of them, providing some fascinating insights into the films and their makers.

Individual day tickets for Wednesday are priced at £39 for adults, £25 for youth (aged 11-17 years), and £13 for children aged 5 to 10 years.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £195 for all 5 days, £170 for 4 days, and £140 for 3 days, there are Youth (age 11-17), and Child (age 5-10) options also available. Individual Day tickets are priced at £45 for Friday, £60 for Saturday, and £50 for Sunday. A parking pass is priced at £5 (in advance), a van pass is priced at £45 (in advance), and under 5's are free.

Added to the ticket options available is a week-long holiday pass priced at £210 for adults, £150 for youth, and £75 for children aged over 5, with a dedicated luxury camping field providing hot showers, toilets, a café, campfire and barbecue area.
