Gama Bomb, and Beholder lead the latest additions for Bloodstock Open Air happening at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire from Thursday 8th until Sunday 11th August 2013.

Confirmed for the Sophie Lancaster Stage line-up today is Last In Line the band put together by former Dio band members including Def Leppard guitarist, Vivian Campbell will be joined by Vinny Appice (drums), Jimmy Bain (bass), Claude Schnell (keys), with the project being fronted by vocalist, Andrew Freeman (Lynch Mob/Hurricane).

Also added to the line-up are Grifter, Cypher16, Betraeus, and The Way Of Purity.

Plus the previously announced Avantasia have confirmed their full guest line-up for their Catton Park appearance. Joining mainman vocalist, Tobias Sammet (Edguy), are Michael Kiske (Helloween) - vocals, Eric Martin (Mr Big) - vocals, Bob Catley (Magnum) - vocals, Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids) - vocals, Thomas Rettke (Rage/Heavens Gate)- vocals & backing vox, Amanda Somerville - vocals & backing vox, Sascha Paeth (Heavens Gate) - guitars, Oli Hartmann - guitars & backing vox, Michael Rodenberg (Rhapsody Of Fire, Kamelot and Heavens Gate) - keyboards & backing vox, André Neygenfind (Kamelot) - bass/backing vox, and Felix Bohnke (Edguy) – drums.

They join Friday headliners King Diamond,Saturday headliners Lamb Of God (UK exclusive), and Sunday headliners Slayer, as well as Anthrax, Accept, Avantasia, Belphegor, DevilDriver, Dark Funeral, Ex Deo, Hell, Kataklysm, Municipal Waste, Whitechapel, Amorphis, Fozzy, Firewind, Death Angel, 3 Inches of Blood, Dying Fetus, and many more. With many more bands are still to be revealed. The festival will have exclusive performances, established, international, and breaking acts.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Tickets are priced at £125 for adults with camping, and car parking is priced at £15, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £25, and campervan passes priced at £45. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date. VIP options available at a later date.

There's also a three instalment payment scheme is available on weekend tickets from Midday Thursday to Sunday, with a first payment of £39.25, then a second payment of £46 debited on 31st March, with a final payment of £39.75 debited on 1st May.
