Also confirmed today are The Straits, Noisettes, King Charles, Admiral Fallow, Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac, Peatbog Faeries, Lucy Spraggan, and Jacob Banks, with Saturday Hothouse Stage headliners announced as The Horrors.

The 10th Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival will take place on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd August 2013 with Dougie MacLean headlining the Black Isle Brewery Grassroots Stage, supported by Martin Carthy, Gavin James, Rick Redbeard, Stealing Sheep, and Shipcote & Friends.

Music comes from around 90 acts across five stages and will also feature It's A Beautiful Day, and Treetop Flyers. Scottish acts on the line-up will include The Dangleberries, Jericho Hill, Victorian Trout Conspiracy, Fatherson, Skyhook, Brown Bear & The Bandits, Skerryvore, Feis Rois, Caledonian Ceilidh Trail, and Toby Michaels Rolling Damned.

Belladrum offers plenty of interest aside from the music, including an array of entertainment for children, although the fairground rides will not be on site this year. Attractions include street theatre, cabaret, cinema, dance, alternative therapies, stalls, food and drink.

The independent festival has built a reputation for its eclectic line-ups, its offbeat non-musical entertainments and its all-ages approach.

This year's 'Carnival' themed Belladrum takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Belladrum Estate, near Beauly in Inverness-shire, Scotland. Promoter Joe Gibbs said, "We are really delighted to be announcing such a mix of old friends and new talent at Bella for our tenth birthday. It is very rewarding to see Scottish artists like Twin Atlantic progress from unsigned stage to top of the order, but also to see the longevity of many of the acts which come to Bella and have held the affections of the crowd over the years. In that vein, we are particularly please to welcome James back to the headline slot. With our dressing-up theme of 'carnival', it's going to be one hell of a party for Bella's 10th."

Tickets will be in the form of E-tickets and a limited number of hard tickets. Early bird tickets are priced at £95. Campervan/Caravan tickets are priced at £50 (£130 with electric hook up) and Child 12 & Under tickets are free.

This year there's a deposit offer to buy a full weekend ticket and put down a deposit of £50 and then pay the total balance by 1st June 2013.

Tickets have sold out for the last four years so fans are urged to buy early to avoid disappointment.
