Darkstar, Fanfarlo, A Love from Outer Space: Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston, Gaggle, and The Wave Pictures are among the first acts announced for Land Of Kings which returns on Sunday 5th May 2013 to the Dalston/Stoke Newington borders, at multiple venues in London.

Wicked!, Week of Wonders, and William Adamson with more still to be announced.

Arts & Interactive comes courtesy of Gideon Reeling, Hammer and Tongue, The House of Hot Breath, Mr Bingo, Musical Bingo, Poetry Takeaway, Street Feast of Kings and The Lost Picture Show.

The festival wristband will grant access to some of Dalston's best-loved venues, including The Alibi, Arcola Theatre, Arcola Tent, The Bunker, Dalston Roof Par, Eastern Curve Garden, The Print House, Moustache Bar, Shacklewell Arms, Servant Jazz Quarters, and Vortex Jazz Club, alongside a host of secret hideaways to be found.

This year's Land of Kings starts alfresco style in the afternoon with an indoor/outdoor village fete-come-street party, spiralling out as night falls to infiltrate the neighbourhood. Expect a pop-up live stage presented with RFB, rooftop barbecue, label showcases, and original DIY broadcasters London Fields Radio, plus Street Feast of Kings - our very own convoy of the finest grub from Street Feast.

Theatres, basement bars, clubs and pubs, cafes and warehouse spaces will host over a kilometre of locally sourced festival fun and provide the backdrop for a good old East End knees up. Guests will be able to dine on a regal banquet laid on by a host of carefully selected concessions as well as special discounts in local restaurants for festival-goers.
