Headline act Jimmy Cliff, Booka Shade, and Norman Jay have been announced for this summer's Beatherder Festival.

The Horseman, Sharam Jey, The Other Tribe, Roosevelt, Toy, Edu Imbernon, Justin Robertson, Elite Force, Jon Carter, Utah Saints, Rennie Pilgrem, Suns of Arqa, Shepdog, Mr Benn, Joe Driscoll & Seckou Kouyate, Cut La Roc, Only Joe, Barry Ashworth, Beans on Toast, Bentley Rhythm Ace (DJ set), Captain Hotknives, and Russ Cuban.

Other acts confirmed today are Monster Ceilidh Band, Mooqee, Velvet Stream, George Ezra, Too Many T's, Club Smith, Extra Curricular, Toni Jarvis, The Lancashire Hotpots, The Acoustic Conquistador, Dutty Moonshine, Eddie Earthquake & The Tremors, Resonators, Wolfie Electroswing, Rum Jig, Ed Stones & The BD3, Foxes Faux, The Corporate Tramps, James Kelly, The Age Of Glass, Andy Cap's Funky Disco, The Fire Beneath the Sea, Pepper Jam, Emmott & The Folkestra, The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican, Gritty Britain, Wooden Machine, Love Em Touch Em Squeeze Em, Skinny, The Yorkshire Puddings, Nana Moon, Breakbeatroot, Miss McQ.

. Expect there to be eleven stages or musical areas these will include The Beat-Herder Stage, Toiltrees the dance area, Stumblefunk Soundsystem, Trailer Trash, The Bushrocker Family HiFi, The Beat-Herder & District Working Men's Social Club, and The Lazy Meadow & Smoky Tentacles Shisha Lounge.

The three day Beatherder festival takes place in Gisburn, Lancashire, with the dates for this the eighth year confirmed as Friday 5th until Sunday 7th July 2013. The festival is independently funded and has no involvement in corporate organisations, nor does it receive any sponsorship. It has organically grown from its free party roots and has a musical emphasis on dance and electronic artists, and is renowned for it's dramatic creative site art.

Tickets are priced at £105. A child ticket for those aged 12 and under is priced at £20, car park passes are priced at £8 and live-in vehicle passes are priced at £18 - please buy in advance.

This year there is also a payment plan available, secured with a 40% deposit, the remainder payable at any point up to the 1st April 2013. (This only applies to Full Price Tickets, not Early Birds).
