Dreadzone to headline Pulse Festival 2013

Skankin' bounce masters Dreadzone are back and have been announced as headliners for Pulse Festival which returns for a third year this time over two days in May 2013.

The festival circuit band whose music is an eclectic fusion of dub, reggae, techno, folk and rock release a new studio album this year called 'Escapades' and this will be a chance for fans to hear a track or two from it alongside all those jump about festival feel good classics the band are renowned for.

Pulse Festival 2013 will takes place on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May 2013 and play host to Subgiant, Pronghorn, Heath:Ward, The Widowmaker, Science Of Eight Limbs, Arp Attack, Welcome Pariah, and Toupe. For the line-up details as available please click here.
There are many, many more acts to be announced for the event, which was cancelled due to bad weather last year. Pulse offers two days of music, food and festivities with two stages of some of the best live music and a complete farmer's market with fine food and beer. Kids entertainment, including, bouncy castles, face painting, tractor rides and lots more at Sunnyfields Farm, Southampton, in Hampshire.

As well as named acts the festival will draw on the bristling South Coast live scene. As last time, the music will be eclectic, interesting and spot on for a good old knees up. Tickets are priced at £40 for adults for the weekend with camping, and for teens (10-16yrs) weekend tickets are priced at £20, with under 10's Free. Friday days tickets are priced at £10 for adults, and £5 for teens, and Saturday day tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £10 for teens.

Children are the inspiration behind this festival and so there will be all sorts for the children to do from face painting to juggling, story telling to tai chi.

The festival supports Families of Oceanward, a local charity who really make a difference to the patients and relatives of children with Heart problems.
