Leeds lads the Kaiser Chiefs have been announced as the third headlining act at next year's Eden Sessions.

Kaiser Chiefs
Kaiser Chiefs return, having played in 2008, to the Eden Sessions on Saturday 29th June as curators and headliners for a day of live music at the home of the Biomes. The band will hand-pick special guests and new talent to play across the Eden site alongside other non-musical surprises.

The band have been this summer with appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals and T in the Park, as well as performing at the Coachella Festival in California. Expect lead vocalist Ricky Wilson to lead the crowd through a hit laden set of anthems including 'Ruby', 'I Predict a Riot', 'Oh My God' and 'Never Miss a Beat'.

Martin Williams, Eden Project Marketing Director, said, "This is another very exciting addition to the 2013 line-up, following the announcement of The xx. Kaiser Chiefs played a fantastic show at Eden in 2008 and it will be a pleasure to welcome back one of the UK's best-loved festival bands."

Comic Eddie Izzard (Monday 3rd June), and The xx (Tuesday 2nd July) are the other acts confirmed to headline Sessions next year. Eden Sessions have become more like a one-day festival, with three stages and acts playing from early afternoon on each day.

Tickets for either Kaiser Chiefs or The xx sessions are priced at £35 and will go on sale at 5pm on Thursday 3rd January 2013, when eFestivals will have links for you to buy them. Every Sessions ticket includes entry to Eden on the day of the show or the day after.
