Tickets are on sale for next year's Fairport's Cropredy Convention the annual shindig hosted by Fairport Convention.

Joining them on the Thursday bill are John Watterson aka The Fake Thackray singing the songs of the late Jake Thackray, Edward II, and of course the hosts Fairport Acoustic Convention who will open this year's festival.

Friday's line-up includes special guests 10cc, and Levellers, plus Lunasa, Moulettes, and Martin Barre Band 'New Day' performing the music of Jethro Tull.

Festival regular Richard Digance takes up his traditional Saturday morning slot with The Dunwells, and Nik Kershaw.

Hosts Fairport Convention will make two appearances opening the festival and closing the show with friends as is traditional. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Each pre-Xmas order will receive a specially designed Fairport Xmas card signed by Fairport Convention. The first 2000 orders also receive a special Cropredy Car Sticker.

"We know a lot of our festival-goers like to give Cropredy tickets as Christmas presents," says Festival Director Gareth Williams, "so we're putting tickets on sale for a limited period in December. And as a bonus, every pack of tickets sent out in December will include a specially designed Christnas card signed by all five members of Fairport Convention. We'll be re-opening the box office in February, a month earlier than usual."

The annual festival of folk and rock music is held on the edge of the village of Cropredy, and run by Fairport Convention. This year's 33rd anniversary of the festival will take place from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th August 2013.

Tickets for Fairport's Cropredy Convention are now on sale. There are substantial discounts for early purchase. As in previous years, the festival offers three-day (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) tickets, two-day (Friday and Saturday) tickets, and Saturday-only tickets.

Prices for tickets purchased before 31 May 2013 are:
Three-day tickets £105
Two-day tickets £95
Saturday-only £70

Children under 12 years old are admitted free provided they are accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Camping is charged per vehicle (up to five occupants). For added convenience and security, tents are erected next to the camping party's vehicle.

Three-day camping costs £35 per vehicle, two-day camping costs £30 per vehicle. Camping on Saturday night is free for people with a festival ticket. Motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians camp free of charge.
